July 11: Biopsy today on the right side. Another female doctor. Every doctor (and tech) I have had at UC Health since this started has been female, and all wonderful! So...I call my boobies "the girls". The left girl has been getting all the attention, until now. I should get the results by July 16. I'm getting good at waiting....for results, more tests, doctor visits....a million dollars. The ultrasound tech saw in my record that Dr. Sharon is my breast cancer surgeon. She gushed about how she is not only an excellent surgeon but a wonderful person. I've only met with Dr. Sharon once (so far), but I came to that conclusion. The tech assured me that I'm in the best hands. That is conforting to know when surgery happens after chemotherapy is done around the end of November.
We named this cutie Roxy. Of course, we didnt know if this raccoon was male or female. But "she" was a joy while we had her for a couple of years. She started coming around on a regular before it was even dark out which is not usual for raccoons. Then she started sleeping on the roof in an overhang near the fireplace chimney. Probably a warm place to be in the winter months. She would wake up around five. Take about thirty minutes to stretch, and yawn, and wake up. She was not on a time schedule. Then she would saunter down the edge of the roof and watch us watching her. Then she would go to the end of roof to this wooden fence (that she is standing on) that she would use to get up and down. Then she would go into the yard and eat the goodies we put out for her. We loved her!
