Have to share the call I had at work. I'm a nurse and telephonically case manage patient's on or starting dialysis. We call most of the new patient's while they are still in the hospital. I called a 33 year female who had her 6 year old daughter with her. I explained we were working on her admission and gave the specifics. She said "Hold on, I have to tell my daughter. She's been praying about this" (I heard her tell her). Then she said, "She's crying....now she's dancing" (because she was so happy her mama would come home soon (so precious). I could hear the patient was crying. Then I joined in. Oh my heart!

I talk to people every work day that are going through such awful stuff! Being a nurse for many years has helped put things into perspective for me. I realize my situation could be so much worse. I am grateful!
